Baby Blue

Nirvana defined by Google: a transcendent state in which there is neither suffering, desire, nor sense of self, and the subject is released from the effects of karma and the cycle of death and rebirth. It represents the final goal of Buddhism.

Today I met the most wonderful woman. She had a tribal design tattooed on her face and I felt immediately drawn to it. I asked her if she ever regretted it, and she quickly responded "hell no." She went on to tell me that she didn't work or live for anybody. Now I'm going to rephrase her life lessons a bit, but here what I took from her entire conversation. There is no reason to fear anything. The only limits in your life are the ones you set yourself, out of that very same fear. If you can conquer the idea that maybe it won't work out, you'll try harder to make sure it will. And if you do fail, you can live in peace knowing you tried instead of settling. Once you settle, you have reached defeat. She also brought in the idea of destiny. When you desire to do something, don't question it. Don't allow anyone to tell you, "maybe you shouldn't do that." You should be self aware. Only you, yourself, can judge upon your intuition and your destiny. It made me really question the idea of destiny. Some people think things are predestined, while others think we have the ability to change and shape our destiny's.

On that note, I hope you all find your state of Nirvana. Peace and love.
